Construction Work on Himachal Seva Sadan on War-Footing
Chandigarh (Himachal Live): Himachal Pradesh PWD Minister Shri Gulab Singh Thakur, on Sunday inspected the under construction Himachal Seva Sadan in Sector- 25 (W) at Chandigarh being constructed at a cost of Rs 10.45 crore.
Chandigarh (Himachal Live): Himachal Pradesh PWD Minister Shri Gulab Singh Thakur, on Sunday inspected the under construction Himachal Seva Sadan in Sector- 25 (W) at Chandigarh being constructed at a cost of Rs 10.45 crore. This three storey Himachal Seva Sadan will have 23 rooms and 18 dormitories with bed capacity of 145 and would go a long way to facilitate the patients and their attendants from Himachal Pradesh visiting PGI Chandigarh for treatment, who will be provided accommodation at subsidized rates.
The work of this building was started in February, 2008.
Shri Gulab Singh Thakur said that the building was likely to be completed in next two months and would be dedicated by the Chief Minister Prof. Prem Kumar Dhumal on completion.
Shri Gulab Singh Thakur appreciated the Public Works Department for doing its work on war footing.
Shri Rakesh Jain, Superintending Engineer, PWD Solan and Shri M.G. Thakur, Executive Engineer, PWD Kasauli appraised the PWD Minister about the construction activities of this building.
